On December 8, 2005 Tim Fleming purchased the Ponte Vecchio Restaurant. He was looking for something different and interesting to undertake. He noticed an advertisement for a restaurant in Peoria, Illinois. He made the trip with family from Nashville, Tennessee to research the opportunity. They instantly fell in love with the ambiance of Ponte Vecchio. On the trip back to Nashville, he sealed the deal. Shortly thereafter, Tim and family relocated to Peoria to begin anew.

Tim Fleming, owner of Ponte Vecchio, wasn’t always a restaurateur. He spent 28 years in the apparel industry where he was given the opportunity to travel the world. While visiting Italy on business, he fell in love with the culture and cuisine. Tim brings his passion for authentic Italian food and fine wines to the restaurant. When he is not sharing his knowledge and experience about both to those with a sympathetic ear, Tim is leading a staff of 8-10 skilled individuals. All share his pride in providing great food, fine wines and personable customer service for a wonderful dining experience.
